Why Connect GSC?

With GSC integration, you get:

• Real search data: Actual impressions and clicks
• Query insights: See what people search to find you
• Page performance: Which pages perform best
• Position tracking: Accurate ranking data

Setting Up the Connection

Step 1: Access Integration Settings

1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar
2. Find Google Search Console
3. Click Connect

Step 2: Authorize Access

1. Sign in with your Google account
2. Select the Search Console property
3. Grant RankMower read access
4. Click Authorize

Step 3: Verify Connection

After connecting:

• Green status indicator appears
• Data begins syncing (takes ~10 minutes)
• Historical data imports automatically

Using GSC Data in RankMower

Dashboard Metrics

Your dashboard now shows:

• Total impressions
• Total clicks
• Average CTR
• Average position

Query Analysis

In the Keywords section:

• See actual search queries
• Click and impression data
• CTR by keyword
• Position trends

Page Performance

Content section shows:

• Performance by page
• Top queries per page
• CTR optimization opportunities

Search Intent Classification

RankMower automatically classifies queries:

• Informational: Research queries
• Navigational: Brand searches
• Commercial: Comparison queries
• Transactional: Purchase intent

Syncing Schedule

Data syncs automatically:

• Every 24 hours for new data
• Manual sync available anytime
• Historical data: up to 16 months

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

"No data showing"

• Wait 10-15 minutes after connecting
• Ensure your site has GSC data
• Check property selection

"Authorization failed"

• Use account with GSC access
• Try reconnecting
• Clear browser cookies

"Data mismatch"

• GSC data has 2-3 day delay
• RankMower syncs latest available
